A two-sided interactive mobile experience that sheds light on cyberbullying.
Challenge
Cyberbullying often goes unnoticed because people fail to see it from the right perspective. The challenge was to represent the severity of the issue in a compelling way while equipping both children and adults the tools to recognize and address it before it’s too late.
Idea
Launched ahead of the International Day of Action Against Bullying, the campaign featured an interactive mobile film with two parallel stories. Users could shift perspectives by rotating their phones 180°, receiving a tailored message based on their role as a peer or caregiver. An extended version synchronized both sides for desktops and local cinema screenings, amplifying the dual experience.
Results
"Perspectives" is now being used in several schools across Argentina to combat cyberbullying, with Telefónica aiming to expand it globally. The campaign generated over 100 cyberbullying reports, which will be addressed through training, and received thousands of messages thanking Movistar for its relevant content. It was also shortlisted at Cannes 2018 in the Interactive Brand or Product Video category.
